Halit Mirahmetoğlu is a science center and museum development strategist with over 20 years of aerospace-sector experience. He led the Gökmen Space and Aviation Training Centre (GUHEM) — Türkiye's largest aviation- and space-themed science centre — from founding-phase concept work through five years as General Manager (2020–2025), and serves as Vice-Chair of the IAF Space Museums and Science Centres Committee.
He studied Astronomy and Space Sciences at Ege University and holds an M.Sc. in Space Management from the International Space University (ISU). Early in his career he worked as a management consultant on the GÖKTÜRK-1 high-resolution Earth observation satellite programme, and has since delivered over 4,000 hours of formal and non-formal training across Paris, Barcelona, Beijing, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Rome. His specialties span satellite ground stations, project management, science centers, business development, space education and outreach, and intercultural negotiation.
He is also the founder of SpaceAgenda.com, a global space-events platform, and remains focused on building space awareness in the next generation.
